No sector is bad enough to not to get a job opportunity. Every sector has an advantage and disadvantage.
If you think IT has more jobs then there might be some recession period in this field too where you will find difficulty in getting a new job. I can give an example of the 2007 recession. At that time people lost everything in a single day and committed suicide.
If you think Mechanical sector or auto industry has a high number of jobs then just check the current recession period of that sector. Recession in this industry is at it’s worst.
Always remember one thing no matter how many job openings any company or any sector have at last you just need one opening to get the job. Having more job or less job doesn’t make any sector superior than others.
P.S.:In the private sector, you can’t expect security and highest job count. Job count matters in the government sector. If you want stable and secure fixed income then go for a government job.
